Silke is a driven procurement leader with twenty years of experience in corporate and public sector environments. Her roles span Procurement, Contract Management, Strategy and Policy development, and Program Management.

 

Silke is passionate about the opportunity to deliver greater value to our communities through procurement. She is a recognised leader in sustainable procurement and led the re-design of the Victorian Local Government Social Procurement Guidelines. She has extensive experience in leading high skilled project teams through complex change and transformation projects. Silke is a certified probity practitioner and German trained lawyer. Silke has previously led strategic reviews of procurement functions, including materiality / capability assessments, data analysis, procurement function transformation and restructures, the design of roadmap and strategic initiatives development, as well as strategy, framework and policy design for State and Local Governments. She has led large procurement collaborations to enhance procurement capability and to guide improved procurement practice.

 

With a proven track record for effective business partnering, strategic reviews, process improvements, systems and framework implementations and projects delivery, she’s experienced in leading large scale change activities. Silke is a skilled facilitator and program manager. Bringing a collaborative approach with her consulting practice/service, Silke’s focus is one of customer/human centric design to achieve measurable business outcomes and improvements. She’s recognised for her leadership driving teams to success with passion, energy, and a focus on outcomes.
