With over 30 years experience in the ICT industry and 20 years working on procurement consulting, he has delivered some of the largest and most complex technology procurement deals in Victoria. He has worked in a wide range of industries and public-sector programs, and holds specialist knowledge in cyber security, enterprise architecture, information management, business applications, and ICT infrastructure.

Nicholas has been twice awarded the Sir Rupert Hamer Records Management Award (2005 and 2011) for his work on the Victorian Electronic Records (VERS) Digital Archive project and Victorian Bushfires Royal Commission respectively.
