New MD for GPG

Peter Macfarlane has officially handed over the baton of MD responsibilities to Dr. Stefan Gassner.

“I am very pleased to announce that Dr. Stefan Gassner is taking up the role of Managing Director for Grosvenor Performance Group. This is something Stefan and I have been planning for considerable time, with transition formally commencing earlier this year. After 9+ years in the role of MD I think its time for someone new to be driving our strategy and I strongly believe that Stefan will give Grosvenor the leadership to continue forging ahead to bigger and better things. Stefan joined the firm almost 10 years ago and has been an outstanding contributor to our growth and strategy. I know he will continue to uphold our Beliefs and our brand promise to clients.

For me, I am not going anywhere. I will continue to play a leadership role in the business, hopefully get the chance to do a bit more consulting, and continue on as Chair of the Board.

I want to thank all our clients and partners over the past decade for their role in Grosvenor’s growth and success. But mostly I want to thank our outstanding staff and leadership team for their contribution, support and patience with my own foibles.
